The Charisma Float Process
Floats in the Tournament of Roses Parade have always been the major focal
point of its international appeal. They have evolved from static floral
displays in the early years to exotic, animated floral creations.
|
 |
| Charisma believes that the Tournament of Roses Parade is
first and foremost a floral pageant. Therefore each float must be carefully
designed, engineered, and decorated for floral display. Animation, music,
and special effects are used to enhance the entry's artistic floral focus
and its theme. See a video. (56k)

Charisma employs specialists in all areas of float
design, who perform all the work from conception to floral completion. This
"personal touch" enables us to produce an entry that looks and moves exactly
like, or better than, your purchased design. (56k)

| Early design selection is a strategic factor in producing
a prize- winning entry. Initially an introductory meeting is scheduled with
you to discuss what your entry will say about you and which approach will
be taken. Then, in a short period of time, you will be shown rough drafts,
with discussion on floral considerations, animation systems, and pricing
structure.Upon the selection of a particular design, a color rendering of
your float will be presented to you for your approval, accompanied by a
contract. Charisma handles the rest. |

Your entry will be decorated in one of the Tournament of Roses building
facilities in Pasadena. (56k)

Charisma also handles the insurance aspect of your entry with various
policies covering fire, public liability, property damage, as well as
workers' compensation.
